Nimbus 495 Flybridge officially a finalist in BOB Awards 2024

The Nimbus 495 Flybridge had its world premiere at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. A month later, Nimbus was nominated as a finalist in the Best Big Boats category at the 2024 BOB Awards.

Experts with extensive experience as boat testers and a deep understanding of boaters’ practical needs created the Best of Boats Awards. It has become one of the largest annual motorboat awards in Europe, based on the number of participating countries, magazines, and boat tests. The Best of Boats Award is unique in its focus on the boater’s perspective. Nimbus designed the 495 Flybridge to be a true expedition vessel, increasing its tank capacity to support longer cruises.

495 Flybridge – designed for long and comfortable cruising

Nimbus designed the 495 Flybridge with the primary goal of creating a true expedition vessel, or “voyager.” To achieve this, they increased the boat’s tank capacity for longer cruises. This allows the vessel to cover great distances and remain at anchor for extended periods without concerns about electricity, freshwater, or waste capacity. The Nimbus 495 Flybridge offers the ability to sail anywhere and live comfortably on board for several weeks. This goes for both, all new adventures and sailing regions, or simple enjoyment of a holiday in your familiar archipelago. A key feature of its design is its ease of handling. This eases navigation and maneuvering for two-people crew in a challenging Nordic archipelago, or any other area. It is a comfortable and safe vessel for a couple or a family cruising Croatia or the Mediterranean. This is why the boat got labeled as “an island of its own” during its development.
